This deftly illustrated picture book introduces Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher and teacher, to young readers. No government would exert pressure on the banks to discount on easier terms than the banks themselves could justify. The gem for me in this book was the analysis of simultaneously clashing cultures, two of which were probably in neighboring cities.

I read this series in the sixties and it was good. I saw where they were now available on Kindle and purchased a few. Should have saved my money and kept my memories. Sorry Shell, but you ain't what you used to be....
