This is not worth it. Although Tracey's conversion from Catholicism and her subsequent opposition to Catholic doctrines and practices are central to the book, the Catholic characters are not demonized, nor the evangelicals glorified. As a teen, he saw this as a power that he could finally use against those that had been hurting him his entire life. All of the characters in this book are not shallow, but adds to the story. The story is based off of the "Thunder Run" scenario presented in the "Hammer's Crucible" miniatures book from the official Hammer's Slammers miniatures site. The escape to the suburbs by many wealthier (mostly white) families to avoid the social debacle, provides stark contrast to the limited options available to the poor. Where is the Turkey.
