Can't say much without ruining the story, and what a story it was. John and Abigail are brilliant twins with a brilliant father who's an inventor. While this book is more directed to the disaster search dog, and I am training dogs more for field tracking, I still found the training and advice to be some of the best I have read. They give actual examples - at the end of the book - on how they simplify math teaching (by breaking down wording that isn't natural, such as symbol based, and interpretting it in more natural language so the children can see the problem differently then pick up the symbols). If you are an avid Castaneda reader, this book debunks some of the mythos which Carlos weaves around Don Juan and is very helpful in gaining perspective. The book inspired much conversation, particularly on the topics of standing up to bullies and supporting students that are victimized by bullies. I really liked the techniques offered in this book, for they were easy to implement and my grades have way up ever since. while "We The People" have had a hand in alot of it ourselves. Most things had a reasonable explanation, and I completely enjoyed reading the book. Their all good and all really an enjoyable and rapid read.
